I spent the morning cleaning and playing with Mr. B (Hunter was at preschool, in which I didn't have to drive).
Hunter came home and decided he wanted leftover pasta from the night before with a breadstick and an oreo cookie for lunch. Bennett had the same.
After lunch it was naptime for Bennett and quiet time for Hunter. I look forward to this time of day most every day! Hunter alternates between a few quiet activities but mostly he likes legos. I went up to his room to chat with him while he was playing legos and he wasn't there. I walked back downstairs to the playroom and he wasn't there. I started to frantically search the house - I found him tucked behind Hallie's bed quietly playing with her legos.
I came back downstairs and sat on the couch in hopes of relieving my swollen and puffy pregnant feet. The thought crossed my mind - there is no doubt I am meant to be in the home. I love being home and I love my home (as messy and unfinished as it often is). I was more than pleased with our simple non-rushed day. I love days like this.
