This guy's eczema is awful right now. His face has patches covering it and he's constantly scratching which results in a face that looks like he's been in a fight. We put socks on his hands to minimize the damage, but then he just sucks on the socks and rubs the wet sock all over his face - also not great for his eczema. The doctor recognized just how bad it was and gave us a prescription cream but of course it can't go anywhere near his face...lame.
See more of his chalkboard art.
Then what good's a prescription? HMM?
ReplyDeleteRight?? It's crazy.
Deletehttp://www.mindyoils.com/2013/06/protocol-for-babys-severe-eczema.html. Also do a search on her website for a one year old baby, she shows pictures of before and after. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the website. Can't wait to start trying some things out!
DeleteI'm just a lurker, but had to pipe in on this because my six month old is dealing with this along with a mix of eczema/cradle cap patches on his scalp. I've used coconut oil quite a bit & it didn't help. So, after reading a lot & thinking through what I already know about this stuff (I have 6 kids & as you know, you learn along the way! :) I decided to make a little paste with infant probiotics & breast milk. The second time I did it I just used the probiotic powder and water. The results are amazing! I need to do it a few more times, but it's SO much better than it was.
ReplyDeleteI would also look into the infant probiotics for him to take. Also, Nordic Naturals makes a really good infant DHA (omegas) with Vit D drops that can really help with eczema.
Good Luck!
Thank you, Thank you! I read your comment last week and immediately went to the natural food store to get probiotics. I've been using your method for a week now and the results are so improved. We still have a long way to go, but his face looks so much better. Thank you for sharing!
