Neighborhood swim party...

We hosted the "End of School" neighborhood swim party (last year's party). It was a last minute thing which is almost better because you eliminate most of the stress. A trip to Costco, a lot of texts and borrowing a bounce house and we were in business. We had 10 families and over 50 people and more wet towels than you can count! We celebrated the end of school, no more alarms, no homework and our kids new wardrobes: swimsuits. And although we were in celebration mode we had plenty of grumbling children as they discussed who was in who's class next year with the nicest or meanest teacher ever...kids are hilarious to listen to, especially when it concerns matters of life and death, like classroom assignments. So grateful for so many wonderful families raising kids with us - neighborhood parties are the best.
