I've got more Idaho photos than I know what to do with and I'm still going through them all.
A trip to Idaho is not complete without some horseback riding. My kids are going to look back of years with pictures of them on horses and think we rode them often - I'll have them fooled. Our annual riding session was a complete success with both Hunter and Hallie gaining some confidence and wanting to ride by themselves (in the grass backyard - we're real adventurous!). Hunter had the most control over the horse and could get it to do what he wanted. Hallie was a tad bit timid and had a hard time kicking the horse to go; instead she'd let the horse take a break if it felt like it.
I thought a couple times around the yard and they would be good to go, but they wanted to go again...and again...and again. They spent over two hours taking turns (also with some cousins) walking in circles and would've stayed longer had I let them.
Bennett refused to get off the horse. He was all smiles and kept repeating, "more, more" and was completely disappointed when we had to say goodbye.
I reminded them that we would come back next year for another ride!
