Its reassuring to know they do grow out of some of those stages!!
Now it's Kindergarten and books and legos!
Here are some things we love about Hunter.
He is mechanical by nature. He likes to build things and dismantle things to see how they were put together. Legos are a dream for a child like him.
He loves collecting snails and worms. He's always considerate of his clothing and makes sure he has "play clothes" on.
He's the teaser of the family. He's pretty sneaky about it but we've all caught on.
He asked for a dirt bike for his birthday. Yes, a real dirt bike. Silly kid.
He's starting to show interest in sports and enjoys watching football with Steve.
His favorite things about school are riding the bus and eating lunch at school...and science experiments.
He can make Cannon laugh like nobody else.
If he has money, he will buy legos.
If he has free time, he's playing legos.
Everything is awesome when you're six.

ReplyDeleteIf Derrik doesn't have a 50 then we'll have to make sure Hunter gets to ride Brody's next summer...nothing better to a 6 year old boy than riding a dirt bike by yourself! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, he would be in heaven! I keep reminding him that once he can ride his bike without crashing we'll consider something motorized!
