Our neighbor drives two hours north - lets his truck accumulate snow during the week and drives back down on the weekends. What's left in the bed of his truck becomes a snow wonderland for the kids.
It may be the world's most pathetic snowball fight - especially considering the kids are in shirts, shorts and not wearing gloves. But they think it's grand. It's a novelty, even if it is 90% ice. They do complain that their hands are cold but at least I don't have to get them in snow gear just to have them tell me moments later they have to go to the bathroom!
