Father's Day...

Father's Day traditions and gifts
We adore and celebrate Steve as often as we can - today is just the official day to scream it from the rooftops.

Breakfast in bed. Homemade cards. Gifts. Pie at church. Massages from the kids. Dinner of his choosing. Friends over for cheesecake. Steve had a pretty good day. And it was fun to show him just how much he means to all of us.

The kids were most excited about their secret project. They wrote what they loved about Steve and attached it to bottles of his favorite root beer. Although he's not a big soda drinker in general so this supply will easily last him 6 months or longer - I'm sure if given the chance the kids could help him deplete the supply quickly. It really didn't matter what the project was - secret gift projects are always their favorite!

Its hard to express appreciation and love for my partner in crime and the father of my children without sounding cliche. He is everything to me; he makes our world go round. The kids adore him. He is prayerful and thoughtful in his parenting and interactions and it shows. He is very in-tune to each child's needs and works to know how to fill those needs. He is compassionate, playful and kind. He's kind of a big deal around here!

Happy Father's Day!
